To help expedite your results please follow the guidelines suggested below:

Fill in the New Customer Information Form on your first job |
 |
Include paperwork ( PO, Shipper, Requisition, etc.) – OR – Tensile Testing's Work Authorization Form which can be used for your convenience. (It can be tailored to fit your needs by sending a request to us via email or contacting client services.)
Paperwork should include information needed for the test report such as:
- Material Description including Grade if Known
- Sample ID: Heat/Lot/Batch/Number/ID
- Specification
- Test/Analysis Required
- Expected Turn time/Due Date
- Quality Requirements if Required (A2LA, Nadcap, Nuclear. etc.)
- Purchase Oder/Credit Card or Other Numbers Used for Billing Traceability

Mark all samples with an identifier that will not fall off, fade, erase, etc. Sample identification is compared with the paperwork to ensure the right samples have been received before commencing work. Also mark grain direction on plates. |

Include a name with telephone number, fax, and/or email address if further clarification is needed. |
 |
List specifications if known as they may affect sample preparation. Include any proprietary specifications with the job if available. |
 |
Send an extra piece where appropriate in case a retest is needed. |
 |
If return samples is required specify if you need test specimens, remnant material, or both. For more details please see Return Samples Form  |
